Jerusalem; Who Owns It?

(55 Ratings)

The eyes of the entire world are fixed on Jerusalem. Do you know why? You're about to find out.

There is a fever among God’s people, those that take His Word literally, that cannot be quenched by all the ice in Antarctica.

Most of the world mocks the idea that we have reached the final moment in man’s history.

And yet there is a small remnant that believes the bible and takes it literally. These are among those that are fixated to the earth changing events that are happening all around us and point to them as a fulfillment of ancient prophecies.

The world is quick to discount all this data as simply “nothing new”.

The arrogant dismissal of the new norm, where right is wrong and black is white, is ironically among the very signs of the times that our Lord told us would be present just before the terminal generation goes terminal.

Those that believed the Messiah and have studied the Ancient Prophetic Text for harbingers that announce the final days are said to be preoccupied with apocalyptic images such as horrible wars, disease, pestilence, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic activity, and one world government system administered by the Destroyer and his subordinate lieutenants of hell. We are said to be fixated on the conspiracy of soon coming one world religion and the technology that is going to make up the prison walls that will encircle all those living on the earth at the time of the Great Tribulation.

Those who do not have the promise of the Blessed Hope cannot understand the motivation for what they see as a fever of the mind, a preoccupation with bad news.

They mistakenly attribute dubious motives to this end time focus on the cascading negative signs of the time that Yeshua said would occur just before His coming.

They simply do not comprehend the simple fact that it is the Coming of Messiah to collect the redeemed and give them a new glorified body that is the heartbeat and lifeblood of this phenomenon.

What they are witnessing, without understanding it, is God’s people identifying themselves as pilgrims in this world who are becoming exercised by the prospect that the heavenly celestial city is just a few short footsteps away from being fully realized.

The drumbeat of what the world sees as an unhealthy obsession with the prospect of the end of the world is simply the longing of the redeemed to go home.

And isn’t this the antidote that Jesus Himself recommended as the cure for our troubled hearts?
Listen to what Jesus says as recorded in John 14:1-3:

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

To those that believe God’s Word and to those that do not, I would like to offer a prophetic word spoken by Zechariah the prophet. A prophetic word that cannot be mistaken for “normal” or “cyclical” or “predictable”.

You won’t find Zechariah offering up prophetic updates on YouTube. The prophecies of Zechariah are recorded in the Old Testament and are dated approximately 500 years before the birth of Jesus.

Interestingly the name Zechariah means YHVH remembers.

Man may forget about the promises of YHVH but YHVH remembers.

Listen carefully to the first 2 verses found in chapter 12 of Zechariah the prophet:

Zechariah 12

The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

I would like you to pay special attention to the first 9 words in Zechariah 12:2:

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling

Notice who is making Jerusalem a cup of trembling; it is God Himself.

Why Jerusalem, why not London, Paris, Istanbul or Damascus?

Why is God stirring the passions of men and demons up over the tiny city of Jerusalem?

The answer to this question can be found in the place you might not expect. The answer is found in the 21st letter in the Hebrew Aleph-Beyt, the letter Sheen

The Hebrew letter Sheen is one of the most mysterious and important letters in the Hebrew Aleph-Beyt.

Of all the concepts embedded in the Hebrew letter SHEEN, we want to focus on the one connected directly to Jerusalem.

Sheen is the one letter that God has chosen as His Divine Signature.

Sheen is the one letter that is connected with the name of God.

Would it surprise you that God has written His name on the Earth?

God has not put His name on just any old place on earth, God has put His signature on a specific place for a particular purpose.

Can you guess the name of that place?

In the ancient prophetic text of Deuteronomy, we read the following:

Deuteronomy 12:11

Then to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his name – there you are to bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, and all the choice possessions you have vowed to the Lord.

Where is this place that God has inscribed His name? The answer is Jerusalem. Jerusalem was the place where the Hebrew’s were to come and offer their sacrifices.

Jerusalem is where the temple was eventually built.

Before we proceed, please read the following verses in order to be fully persuaded that God actually said that He would put His name in Jerusalem.

Are we to understand this literally?
You decide.

1 Kings 11:36

And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.

2 Kings 21:4

And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

2 Kings 21:7b

In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name forever:

2 Chronicles 6:6

But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there;

2 Chronicles 33:4

Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be forever.

Was God’s claim on Jerusalem temporary?

Was it a short-term lease?

Did Satan evict YHVH from Jerusalem and is he now the rightful owner?

Is God finished with Jerusalem and the "Particular People" He chose to occupy Jerusalem as an inheritance from the Almighty?

Let God be true and every man a liar.

Look again at the last 7 words in 2 Chronicles 33:4:

In Jerusalem shall my name be FOREVER!

Please take note of the ancient map of Jerusalem we have included in the written article with the same title as this audio recording.

Consider that the three valleys that come together at the base of Mount Moriah etch into stone the Hebrew letter Sheen, the name of God.

Notice the Kidron Valley on the right, the Central Valley in the middle, and the Hinnom Valley on the left – the three fingers that hide a revelation and reveal the title holder of Jerusalem’s name.

Who is the titleholder of Jerusalem forever?

God has put His divine signature around Jerusalem so that you might know that Jerusalem is set apart by the LORD for Himself.

Notice where all three valleys come together to form the letter, Sheen.

It is Mount Moriah.

You may think that Solomon’s temple was the most majestic and marvelous thing to ever be erected in Jerusalem, but you would be wrong.

The most majestic, awesome and glorious thing to ever be erected in Jerusalem was the rugged wooden cross that lifted our up our Savior. Yeshua Ha Mashiach was the perfect Lamb of God who was slain in order that we might be redeemed and delivered from the curse of sin and the wrath of God.

So, if Jerusalem is owned by God, why is the most prominent spot in Jerusalem crowned by a temple dedicated to the Moon God?

Why is there a word lifted up to the heavens and inscribed in the dome of the rock that says GOD HAS NO SON?

The answer to these questions and more will be answered in the next Article titled Jerusalem A CUP OF TREMBLING.

These studies are marvelous opening up an entire new world in the scriptures. The scriptures themselves are revelations of God. Thank you so very much.

  3. Patti Cherry says:

God does own Jerusalem, He owns all of creation. I do have a question: Why do you say the end of the world, isn’t the end that’s coming the end of this age, the Church age? Jesus will rule and reign for 1000 years and then make a new earth and heaven, yes?

  4. Rick Hurst says:

Fantastic, simply fantastic. Even today, you can see YHVH inscribed on Google earth. HIS NAME is enscribed in our hearts, literally, SHEEN is seen in a cross section of the human heart.
What a marvelous ELOHIM we worship. YHVH is LOVE. YESHUA. AMEN.
