The Story of JOB part 5
The Gospel that was first written in the stars is the same Gospel written in the textual revelation so carefully preserved by God in order that we might know and love His truth.
God wants us to consider His redemptive work and has covered the earth with a Firmament, a heaven directly above the earth that was designed from the very beginning to bear silent witnesses to His gracious plans, His power and His glory.
We should not be surprised that Satan would try and pervert that Glory. It must erk Satan considerably to be bivouacked in a place that is teeming with bright celestial messengers that herald the power, might and wisdom of his greatest enemy. It must be doubly irritating that the very heaven in which he finds himself in his steady descent from God’s heaven above is the very place that publishes signs and heralds his own demise.
It is more than interesting that we find numerous references to the signs in the firmament as we read the book of Job.
God points Job to the heaven in order that Job might begin to understand that they are ever present to declare His Glory and that it is He alone that named the stars and brings forth the constellations in order to display His wise and wonderful plans for those that love and trust Him.
Now let’s look at the Hebrew word Firmament. A word that in the conventional Hebrew refers to the heaven that is above the earth and the solid dome that envelopes the entire heaven and covers the earth like a dome.
I am sure you are curious what mystery is hidden in the picture meaning of Raqia, the word we translate as Firmament.
Let’s take a look at the four-letters that are also pictures that compose the Hebrew Word Raqia (raw-kee-ah) that we translate into English as Firmament.
Ayin Yood Qoof Reysh
70 10 100 200
Hebrew Phonetic Spelling:
The picture meaning of the Raqia (raw-kee-ah) or Firmament, mentioned 9 times in the first chapter of Genesis is very instructive.
The picture and number translation is as follows:
The first letter in the word Raqia is Reysh pictured as the Head Person or the Prince.
The picture displays the True Prince of Heaven, the only begotten Son of God who is also the Creator.
The second letter in the word Raqia is Yood pictured as a hand doing a mighty work.
The picture displays His Divine accomplishment of Atonement and Redemption in the Heavens.
The third letter in the word Raqia is Qoof pictured as the back of the head. Qoof is the picture of the least and the number 100 tells us who God has in mind. The least in view are the chosen remnant, the children of promise.
The picture displays His Chosen People who are the least among all the other people of the world.
This Divine Deed will be accomplished at the perfect time as ordained in Heaven in order that those that love God and are His children might have life that results in eternal fellowship with our Heavenly Father.
The fourth letter in the word Raqia is Ayin pictured as an eye. Ayin is the picture of those that see, know and understand.
They are the chosen children that will receive the promises of God.
Ayin is also the number 70.
Seventy is the number of the Nations. The revelation is easy to understand. God has chosen to reveal Himself and will call forth His remnant chosen people from all the nations of the world.
Representatives from all the nations both the Jews and Gentiles will ultimately be included in God’s family.
The picture means to See and Understand!
Based on the pictures and numbers in the Hebrew word Raqia, let’s summarize the hidden purpose of the Firmament.
The True Prince of Heaven
the only begotten Son of God
who is also the Creator
displays His Divine accomplishment
of Atonement and Redemption
in the Firmament
in order that His children of promise
called from every nation, tongue and tribe
will see know and understand the
work of salvation accomplished
by the only begotten Son of God.
Psalm 19:1- 4a
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.
Now you know the hidden revelation in the Hebrew word Raqia, the word we translate into English as FIRMAMENT.
