Adam

Go back with me in time without any memory of the future and witness the drama in which Adam is fashioned from the damp, red earth. Our eyes would squint as we viewed a being clothed in light and radiant as the sun fashioning something not quite recognizable from the red clay. Unrecognizable because the lines and contours formed are blurred by the dazzling light of the Creators fashioning hand. Then, in a flash, the Creator clothed in light steps back from his creation and it is only then that we see the most perfect human form ever sculpted.

The form stands lifeless and serene for a moment or two and is viewed with obvious pleasure by the Master Potter. It is then that we are stunned by what happens next. The Creator steps forward to embraces the clay form and presses His mouth against the creature’s lifeless lips and exhales. Instantly the Creature comes to life in a blaze of reflective light.

Animated by the Kiss of Life, the creature bows to his knees and reaches out to touch the Creator’s extended hand. The two look at each other—the one pleased the other, finding himself in a state of utter bewilderment.
